Some of our branches now run a travel clinic. Our pharmacist can advise patients who are travelling overseas what vaccinations they might need or what anti-malarial medication they might have to take if travelling into a malaria zone. Our pharmacist can also supply any medication needed as well as administering the necessary vaccines in the pharmacy without a prescription. This saves patients having to see their GP. This is a privately run service not funded by the NHS. Our pharmacists are fully trained to provide this service. No appointments are necessary for the initial consultation with the pharmacist, if any vaccines are required they may need to be ordered in so an additional visit to the pharmacy will be necessary to have your vaccination given. In addition to travel vaccination and anti-malarial advice our pharmacies carry an extensive range of over the counter medications, toiletries and travel accessories you might want to take on holiday with you”.
